5k - I did it🎉 first post graduation run this morning!

Determined to make it to 5k this morning as I was coming up short on the 30 minute runs.

Yippee! I set off more slowly than usual as my calf is still tetchy ( slow is good - such good advice on this forum).

Still going strong through 30 minutes and completed the 5k in just over 36 minutes. Can’t believe it - I kept going for a whole extra 6 mins running!!

Thank you! Seriously impressed you can run for 43 minutes. Surrounded by serious running other half and sons in law who are all way quicker so I’m holding off doing a park run with them for now being a coward. Maybe I’ll run the junior park run with the 4 yr old granddaughter .Much joyful skipping and chatting !
