Encouragement for those at the start and the end!

I finished C25K about a month ago and today I ran the longest I have so far at 5.7K. I remember at the start never dreaming I could ever run for 5 mins let alone 30 mins. When I graduated I was still only covering 4K so I’ve made good progress since in pace and distance. I also remember dreading saying goodbye to the structure of the app. I’ve not managed to keep to 3 runs a week but do run at least once a week and I’m really enjoying the freedom of exploring new routes and running for longer. No matter what stage you are at, keep going, it really is worth it!

Thanks for the motivation.

Huge progress from 4k to 5.7k within a month. You seem to have some potentials.

Are you aiming 10k?

Hi yes just signed up for a coached run group to get to 10K. Trouble is after 5K my left Achilles really doesn’t like it. I’m hoping I can increase without injury. Might have to upgrade my trainers!

I hope you are increasing distance observing the 10% rule.

I think so. I hit 5 K by running for longer than 30 mins once I’d finished the app and then it’s been incremental increases. Doing the coached group should keep me on track

Well done on 5.7k - the 4K on graduation sounded pretty good to me 😃

Well done, nice to hear you’re still running too 🤩🏃‍♀️

I started training for my 10K, using jujus magic plan, I’m a week behind though on the plan due to a holiday and the heat, not my running weather 😂

I’ve done a few 6ks and surprisingly, they felt ok, although I did

Have to push my mind to do it,

i need to step up to 8k, might aim for that this weekend at a slow trot 😊
