All done and dusted.

I'm very pleased with myself (obvs). Now to start the consolidation as well as follow the advice in IannodaTruffe's excellent post: healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

Congratulations siwhite on completing C25K with week 9 run 3 and graduating, I agree that IannodaTruffe posts are always excellent advice to all of us here on C25K.

To get your graduation 🎓 badge and the word GRADUATE 🎓 next to your username leave a message on the April graduate post in the pinned posts on the right side of the healthunlocked C25K home page and tell the administrators that you have ran W9R3 of C25K and graduated 🎓 🏃 😊

It certainly does. Now onto consolidation mode :D

Any idea where you’re going to take your running after consolidation?

siwhite profile image
siwhiteGraduate in reply toJulia187

Nothing concrete. I want to consolidate 5K (pace) and move onto 10K. In the long term full and half marathon perhaps. I’m still pretty tickled that I’ve run 5K in 33 minutes at the moment. What are your plans? We could be virtual training buddies 😃

Yes definitely, I need all the support I can get! I’m a way off 5k at the moment so I’m going to try and do a bit more each consolidation run to get me to 5k (I just made it over 4K this morning!) and then I’m pondering 10k, HM seems too far but then so did all of this!!

Well that’s the point isn’t it? Running for any length of time any therefore any distance just seemed impossible 9 weeks ago. So why not 10K or a half? Maybe it’ll take a while to get there but the journey will be a blast 😃

I’m hoping it’s going to get a bit easier!

You're so kind. This is just the start of course. Many more miles to cover.

It is the start! These next weeks are interesting - just consolidating, but thinking of what parts you really enjoy and that helps take it to the next level, or do you want pace or duration next. I definitely found at the end of consolidating that the running was properly embedded in my life - can’t imagine not doing it now.

Thank you. I am indeed. To think back to Week 1 and how even a minute seemed a long time, this just seems unreal.

Thank you. I spotted some training stuff in Runkeeper earlier that looks like it might be good for consolidating my runs, so who knows where my next start line will be.
