Day 2 and that was hard to keep going today thought it would have got easier 😢

I think how it feels depends on so many factors weather, hydration etc., but you went out and did it 😀 well done!

Thanks I know am heavy buy my body felt heavy and not want to move 😌

That can be a hydration issue - plenty of water on rest days and run days. And learn to run slowly, that’ll help. Your brisk walk can be faster than your run. And if you prefer it slow there’s a great short film on youtube showing the Japanese slow jogging technique. I run this way all the time and love. It does get easier and the transformation of your body, and the benefits to general wellbeing are simply amazing. So slow down & stick at it!!

I did my r2 Wednesday and felt the same thought it was so much harder than the r1. Anyway think I then realised it was because my body was still aching from r1, rain was hammering down which didn’t help. Completed r3 yest and was so pleased. Wasn’t as difficult. Going to do one more w1 run before I move on now. Well done

I find it’s not the breathing that I find difficult but the sheer weight on my legs and feet! Everyone has said it gets easier just have to progress at your own rate I guess.

My shins and calves definitely felt the pain and brunt of it on my second run but I was definitely more hydrated which I could tell the difference because I wasn’t gasping for water throughout and after. Also I’m attempting that Japanese slow running technique which is helping a lot.

Well done for getting your second run done! It is hard but it’s done and you should be proud!!
