Hi everyone. I started couch to 5k a number of years ago and it has completely changed my life. I literally no longer have the same name anymore. I went from obese alcoholic male sectioned with depression to free running female and haven't had alcohol for over 2 years. It has been a long journey. This Sunday I am running the London Marathon for the LGBT foundation. Follow me on the app if you fancy, number 2753.
I just want to say, if you are embarking on C25k it is AWESOME!!
I will leave more info in my bio, I also write a blog and if anyone fancies donating then that would be great. Read over some of my earlier messages from when I started if you fancy.
Keep running!!!

Hi sofie, I've only just read your bio & a snippet of your blog but I shall be reading more when I'm not at work!
I'm sorry that you've been to some dark places in the past, there had been a too much ignorance for too long. I know there is a long way to go but my two teenage kids are living proof that the change needed is definitely a coming!
You have fought one helluva fight to be where you are today.
I hope that sofie, throughly enjoys her first marathon and is very proud of her achievements.... No looking back now 😉 Have a great one! 🍀 🍀 🍀
I remember you starting Kally! You've been on an incredible journey and I'm sure at times very hard. Huge well done to you and the very best of luck for Sunday 🍀🍀🍀
Wow! What a brilliant story. I am so pleased to hear that your life has been transformed for the better and that your sheer hard work and determination has paid off. What an inspiration you are. Keep being you, keep doing what you do and be happy! You go girl! Will be rooting for you on Sunday....let us know how you get on 😁🏅🏅🏅
I think I’ll watch the London Marathon for the first time this year (usually it makes me feel lazy but think now it’s an inspiration). I read some of your old posts including the Manchester Half Marathon post. Its great to hear how you approached the run. What an inspiring journey. Good luck for tomorrow!!
Wow amazing. What a brilliant inspiring story. Good luck with the London Marathon I ran it last year in the heat but the support was fantastic. Keep on running.
