LONDON MARATHON

Hi

Does anyone know of any C25Kers who are running in the London Marathon?

I was just wondering if anyone has gone right through from C25K to full Marathon.

If you are, good luck and run safely.

I do happen to know that our JuicyJu on here has entered a full marathon - The Eden marathon?

suzybenj is; she's been posting her pre-marathon training regularly on here.

I am! Graduated in December 2012. First 10k race in May 2013. First half in Nov 2013. This will be my first marathon.

Thanks for the good wishes.

If I knew what you looked like I would watch out for you on TV.

All the best, and let us know how it went.

PS. Our son has decided that the MdS look interesting!!

Hope you enjoyed watching it. I did it in 4 hours, 2 mins and 52 secs.

I am incredibly impressed. Well done.

Maybe, just maybe I will do a marathon one day, but until then I shall just be in amazed awe at guys like you.

Enjoy a well earned rest toady.

Good luck with the VLM. How are you finding the tapering? I've just entered the Brighton marathon 2015 and after reading some blogs many have said that they found the tapering quite challenging.

Thank you!

I've found the tapering good overall. The first week was tough - very strange to force yourself not to work as hard. But now, I feel rejuvenated both physically and mentally and I'm starting to sleep much better! It definitely works, just like the couch to 5k programme.

Good luck with you marathon training. You'll love it.

Hi Sally,

I've updated my picture especially :)

No chance of me doing the MdS anytime soon, that's for sure!

Hi

I shall look out for you from the comfort of the sofa! I shall run on Sunday, but alas not at the level you are.

Our son is a very, very keen rower and has just realised how important running is...so he has now decided that he should throw himself into that too. Oh heck, we already have to take him rowing 5 days a week...and with running...

Good luck with the Marathon.
