I appear to have done this

Chose the there and back route to music which in hindsight was a mistake as it’s downhill, long straight flat turn round, long straight flat and uphill and since I last did it I can run much further along that long straight flat! You’d think that would be a positive but I kept thinking,’I’ve got to do all this again and THEN THE HILL’. I did it though and am chuffed but no feelings of euphoria- I think I got that most when I realised I could run for 25 mins so surely I would in time run for 30. And so it came to pass ! Still icing ankle after every run but much stronger than it was but won’t be increasing distances any time soon. Great programme and great forum. Thanks for being there lurkers, likers or posters- makes the difference. Happy running and happy Friday folks!

Congratulations. What a tough way to finish... that’s brilliant. Consolidation is good now, so not going further for a while is perfect. Celebrate this well, and enjoy all your future running adventures

Congratulations! And you graduated on a hill. Most impressive! Just stick to the 3x30 for as long as you need to become comfortable and hopefully that ankle will get good and strong.

Well done! ,I know just what you mean about the thinking of the hill. Mind I must say that since I started C25K I have been getting up there a bit quicker!
