So today it’s officially 3 months since I did W1R1 and I celebrated by doing Consolidation run 7. I’m still not even half way to running 5k but honestly I don’t give a flying fart. I run for 30 minutes 3 times a week n I’d run more often if I could. My shape has changed, I’ve lost 2 inches off my waist, I’ve started using My Fitness Pal and lost 6 pounds in the last 6 weeks, I’m starting to fit in smaller clothes, my stamina is loads better, I go walking for fun now, I’ve started doing yoga again, my anxiety has almost gone and all in all I’m tons happier. Plus I signed up to do 50 miles in May for Miles for Mind (some running, some walking). If all that has happened in 3 short months I can’t imagine where I’ll be on my 1 year runniversary!
Today’s run was no longer than any of my other consolidation runs but my pace/speed were quicker even though the weather is warmer than I’d like. Another couple of consolidation runs n I think I’ll be ready to start extending my runs 😃
Happy running!!

“Happy Runniversary” Jill and amazing how far you have come in three months, when you start to feel and see the changes it makes everything worthwhile and makes for a healthier happy way of life.
I had my 4 month runniversary a few days ago too and lovely to have my virtual running buddy alongside for the ride. 🏃♀️🏃🏻♀️
Thank you! And happy 4 month runniversary! I need to do an edit cos I forgot to mention all the fantastic people I’ve met on here, I don’t think I could have done it without you all! 🏃♀️ 🏃🏻♂️
There’s some fantastic results in just 3 months... very well done. Everything is moving in the right direction and it’s especially good to read about the anxiety. Enjoy the rest of consolidation and then the onwards part of the journey.
