Week 4 run 2

Hi all. I completed week 4 Run 2 on Monday. The run itself was fine, but I've found that I'm starting to get a pain in my right heel as I'm doing the warm down walk. Has anybody else experienced this? I'm due to do run 3 this evening and don't want to cause any severe damage. Also, what earphones does everyone use? Mine started to drop out as I was running the other day so looking at buying some new ones.

Are you landing on your heel? Because you should be landing on your mid foot. That could be a reason. Other option is to go to a proper independent running shop & have your gait analysis done - they’ll help find the right shoes to compensate for any issues with your running style.

Thanks. I was planning on going to have a gait analysis done this weekend. Hopefully they'll be able to sort me out withe some nice new running shoes.

Haven't had the heel problem (I get pain behind knees). Headphone-wise, I use cheapie Bluetooth ones (from Argos), with different size earbuds - seem to stay in place OK.
