Had a bit of a rubbish run today. Got bad period pain but everyone tells you exercise helps ( it didn’t). Had to go at a warm time of day as lots going on today and was overdressed and soooo hot. Tried to go a little bit faster which was probably a mistake as it felt reallly hard. I did manage a bit faster but not enough to justify how rubbish I felt slogging through. I don’t know really, just going to chalk it down to a bad run and hope it goes better on Friday. Going to curl up and have a little read with a chocolate bunny now while my face returns to normal colour.

I’m doing week 8 at the moment and am finding it a bit harder than I expected, it’s good to know it’s not just me. We can do this (0: enjoy the bunny x

Well done for sticking at it! Don’t worry too much about your pace at the moment. You’re learning to run for 30 minutes duration - the actual distance you do at this stage is secondary, once you’ve graduated and consolidated your running you can work on your pace. Very few of us actually run 5k at graduation - that comes later & for some of us we get there by building duration rather than speed. Enjoy your chocolate bunny!

so I ran a little faster. Completely worked, felt more natural and easier. I love running. Something
