Bad week last week, only managed one run - work, hubby’s shifts, childcare...everything seemed to conspire against me and that’s when I’ve always failed in the past. It’s been an excuse to just give up and go back to not bothering. But not this time. I actually really missed my runs so I started week 6 again today and am more determined than ever to keep going. It makes me feel good when I get home knowing that I’m one step closer to 5k. Onwards and upwards!

I completed this last night, two days after W5R3. I thought after W5R3 it'd be easy but actually, it was harder! My legs were so tired. I guess I hadn't recoverd, quite an unpleasant suprise, not really looking forward to my next run.

So I felt a bit like that last week when I did the same run. Thought it would be easy because I’d managed the 20-min run a couple of nights before but it was definitely hard. Didn’t feel quite so heavy-legged today though so maybe you just need an extra rest day

Superb! Well done for getting out there. Sometimes life just gets in the way. But focusing on all the good stuff that running does to our minds and bodies that should help you stay motivated. And you won’t lose any fitness if you can’t fit in 3 runs in a week.

Well done you... take it slow and take it steady and run when you are able...Just head gently towards the 30 minute runs.. and know that all your home life and looking after your children is great for your stamina and strength! Go girl!
