An early run (for me anyway 😂)

After running at 11am in the heat on Saturday and having a horrible time I decided to go earlier so set off at 9.30 today in a fairly pleasant 12 degrees. Took it pretty slow n just did 1.34 miles

If I’m honest it still wasn’t great but I didn’t overheat n managed to speed up for the last minute. I think it was mostly my head that made it a not great run, I was a bit anxious after Saturday n also cos my daughter is doing the first of her GCSEs this morning. But afterwards I realised that actually it went ok n it was just stupid gremlins telling me I’d overheat again n I should stop, so next time I’ll be kicking the gremlins into touch n having a great run in the upcoming rain ☔️🏃‍♀️😊

Well done. Hope the GCSE’s are going ok. I can’t wait for that rain either, it’s going to be so refreshing, hopefully one shower will be at 9am Saturday! Happy running.

Thanks! It’s art so it’s spread over a few days but it’s going ok so far. Never thought I’d look forward to the rain lol. Will keep my fingers crossed for that 9am shower 🤞

Yes I run at 12 yesterday and I’m not doing that again so putting an alarm on tomorrow to be off by 9am!

I just re read all my posts. Do that and you’ll see how far you’ve come.

Rain could be exciting as I could be trying out my new rain jacket

Doesn't have to be great... just has to be done. Well done for beating back the gremlins. Yes,some light drizzle would be quite refreshing!
