Sorry for being a bit late. I have got all, out of sync with the holidays over the weekend ๐ Hope you have all had a great time
The numbers of folk on the forum increase daily.. and although it is tricky to keep up with everyone's progress... it is great to have a little fun post, so we can see who is on which week of the programme, and hopefully it will help everyone to feel more included on the forum.
We can support, encourage and generally help each other, in a positive and friendly way, with no thought of comparison.
Please remember it doesn't matter if you stay on the same week for a while, that is fine; it is a journey and it really doesn't matter how long it takes, it will be so worth it when you get to the final run.
If you have just graduated, also, this will be a great place to keep you motivated, and there is always the Quest on the Bridge to 10k forum also, for Graduates., and the new Quest on here too...launched last month !
One of the best things about this weekly chat is that you can talk to each other, support and encourage each other and find folk on the same week or run as you.
So, please do come and join the fun.... Let us know how it is going

Busy week for me, lots of walking with one run. Some weeks go like that but as long as Iโm still keeping active it doesnโt bother me. ๐. I think I covered a total of over 40km all in all but only 7km was running.
Congratulations and well done ๐ฅโญ๏ธ๐โโ๏ธ๐ฅ
End of w4 for me!
I promised myself proper running shoes if I got this far. My faithful old trainers have served me well, but Iโm looking forward to having new ones!! Gait analysis here I come ๐!
Week (Iโve lost count). This week has sprint intervals in for me ๐ฑ. No long run either... roll on next week!
I have been working on my routes... in one park I have found an easy to not miss loop off my lap that adds exactly 1/3 of a mile on, which should come in handy. Off to the next park later to see what I can add in there.
Finished week 6 today, covered 4.2km in total, so happy with that even if it was hard work lol...onto week 7 on Thursday - can't believe how far I have come tbh.
Same run as.me and I've got 7/1 on Thursday too! It's great how each step leads to the next isn't it! I remember looking through the runs when I was in week 1 and thinking I couldn't imagine I'd be running for 25 minutes by week 6!
Thank you very much...found the support on here very helpful..cannot believe I am where I am...on holiday for week 9 but have checked and the ship has a 400m jogging track - yay!
Just completed my 6th consolidation run this morning. Still not quite comfortable with the 30 minutes, mostly cos of the heat so thinking another week of consolidation n then Iโll reassess
W4 R1 completed on Monday, thought I would fail but did it despite the midday sun along our promenade. I found the link to the you tube video for running slowly has really helped me. I may not be going fast but the sense of achievement for keeping at it for the duration was amazing!
Just finished week 7. I found the heat tough, and I changed my route to go through fields but the uneven ground hurt my ankle. This morning was back to plodding around and around the cricket pitch in the rain... Probably my worst run to date!
Did run 1 of week 3 yesterday. Have work tomorrow and then have to go back for some training in the evening so need to wait until Friday to do run 2 but itโll get done!
