Having really struggled with W3 and repeating several times W4 has been much smoother. Still just about shuffling along but got through those 5 min runs. Funny how 3mins seem relatively easy now 😂.
What a gorgeous day to be running. Can I just ask when people are using Strava to measure the distance they run are you starting it when you start your 5min warm up walk or when you start running?

Well done you, as for Strava if you want to know how far you've running start it after you 5 minute warm up and stop it when you finish running it's up to you , I just start mine at the very beginning and stop it and the end of my cool down walk😊😊
Thank you Buddy34. I’m certainly enjoying the sense of achievement
Well done on getting through Wk4 😃. I’m one run behind you!
I have just started using Strava to log my Wk4 runs and I start it at the beginning of my warm up walk and finish at the end of my cool down walk. I only started out of curiosity, as I was struggling to gauge how far I was going or to estimate how far 5K is.
My main focus is completing the runs not covering the distance, as I’m a bit of a joffler, but it is a nice buzz when you can see the progress you are making. 😀
Thank you. Oh let’s keep eachother going Delly-dot. I’m away for work this week but I’m packing my kit and trainers so even if I have to go on the treadmill at the hotel I’m determined to do my best to keep going.
Well done to you too. I’m just about finishing the runs too and not too concerned about the distance - the 5k will come in time! More intrigued about how far it is. Today I did 3.5k including the warm up and down walks.
Good luck on the treadmill - have you used one before? I have only run outdoors, so it makes me smile when I see it referred to as the 'dreadmill' on here! We can definitely keep each other going - Virtual Run Buddies are worth their weight in gold on here 😊
Hi Delly-dot. Sort about delay in replying. Just did W5R1 on the treadmill. It was better than expected (I had run on one before but a long time ago). Not sure I had the pace right but I did the run. Definitely felt W4 had paid off. How are you doing?
Morning! Got up with the larks this morning and just finished w4, so still a run behind you. It’s good that you can give me the lowdown on what lies ahead!!
This week I’m going to reward myself with proper running shoes as I have got this far. 😊 🏃♀️ 👟
