Ok so I’ve just done w2 r2, I was supposed

To do it on Tuesday but my heel and below ankle has been hurting. I pushed on and did it today although a lot slower and my heel was so sore every time I put it down. Any advice please? Thanks

The guide to the plan has advice on minimising impact, the most crucial of which, in my opinion, is wearing proper running shoes fitted after a gait analysis done at a specialist running shop.

If you have issues, you need good shoes.

Well done you! I also just completed my w2R2 and I’m always battling with my knees.

Only advice I could give would be to maybe support it during your runs to build up without more damage. Otherwise just listen to your body and don’t over do it.
