So hard

Consolidation 3 was a tough one! I had a feeling it would be, been really thirsty today n a bit sniffly n sneezy so maybe I’m starting with a cold

After about 15 minutes I had to start telling myself I wasn’t giving up n no it wasn’t hard, it was really easy n I was having a great time. Slowed down n slowed down even more n managed to get through it but was definitely glad when the 30 minutes was up 🥵

Hoping the next run is better for you...I did smile at telling yourself “it’s easy & your having a great time” don’t think I have ever felt that 😂 my choice of words have been unprintable. Hope you don’t get a cold and the next run will be a good one 🏃🏻‍♀️

Thanks, I was working on the principle that a positive mindset helps 😂😂

Some you win, some you just get through. Well done for persevering! :)

Thanks, me too! Managed to go all winter without a cold. I don’t mind a bit of a sniffle as long as it doesn’t get worse than that 🤧

Great job getting to the end of the run... mental strength tested and passed! Hope the sniffle doesn’t worsen.

I wouldn’t mind but that’s so not like me. I think the 3 hours sleep on Saturday night has caught up with me 😴

I had 5 but for me that’s not much, I love my sleep

So do I but had to be up at 6. Woke in the early hours n my brain said ‘Nope! No more sleep for you!’ 😩

Well done....unfortunately my gremlins beat me down and won today at the start of week 8....mental strength failed for me....so you are doing brilliant.

Hey Franglaise, You can beat those gremlins. You’ve come so far, remember what wk1 was like. Have a good rest day and get back out there. You can do this ... it’s for you.

I'm going back out tomorrow...hydrating well today. Thank you for the vote of confidence.

I’m with Rosiepug, you can so do this! I find listening to something that distracts me from thinking about how hard it is really helps, like a podcast or audiobook. If you’re busy listening then your brain is too occupied to think about how hard the run feels. Best of luck for next time!

I don't listen to anything...washed my phone! Usually run and chat, but just feel totally unable to do that....hopefully just a blip or not recovered from my bug as much as I think I have...thank you for the support.
