Yes, I am back! Back to running. I had moved 6 months ago and wasn’t sure what routes people were taking. Plus I am a procrastinator and kept putting it off.
Today I got my running gear on and have decided to do the programme again to get my body used to running again. I found a couple of playing fields and went for it.
I have started at Day 1, Week 1, start off gently. My legs didn’t feel as tight as when I first started the programme and my breathing was easier. As an asthmatic I do take my inhalers before running, it does help.
I feel better for completing my first run as I had problems trying to make that start again. Having done it I will continue with the programme and start looking for a running club to keep me motivated.
