It's my birthday today (56 yikes!) and my present to myself was to graduate!
I went down to Milford for the night and did a beautiful run along the coast to Keyhaven and back. The sun was shining on the sea and the yachts were out, lovely.
My only problem is my knees which are giving me real stick and have been doing so since week 8. Guess I had better go and see a physio or the doc. Think it might be arthritis
Home now and there is a pile of presents waiting for me including a square one which I am hoping contains a garmin 110

Well done and Happy Birthday . You are a total inspiration to me. I have never run before and am on week 3. It is wonderful to read all the things other people are achieving. Take care of your knees, if it is arthritis you could try putting cinnamon on your cereal, I use it for psoriasis and my mum for arthritis, it is a wonderful anti-inflammatory.
Happy Birthday, congrats on graduating, I have cinnamon on my cappuchino and cinnamon and grated nutmeg on my breakfast yoghurt - good anti-inflammatories, use a knee support to just add a little help for a dodgy knee and find all these things together have take me through to starting week 8.
