Yes..surprisingly enjoying it more than I ever thought I would. I’ve never considered myself a ‘runner’ and only started to help with my weight loss. I’ve just done W4R2 tonight and for the first time I was actually looking forward to it 😊 don’t overthink W4 too much, I made that mistake and was dreading R1 which didn’t help with the mindset. You got this! 💪🏼

I have finished W3 today, I’m excited for W4 but now I feel this journey is going too fast am I actually taking it all in? At some point when we reach W7,8,9 we’ll look back and want to savour it all over again.

I thought I was going to hate c25k when my friend told me about it but I was proved wrong, I love it love it love it... I wish it was longer than 9 weeks now 😂.

Some runs are challenging but I’m completing them and coming back for more, this is something we are doing for ourselves and the results are already showing! X

There is a C210k app too if you want to keep building up distance!

Welcome to the forum and well done on your progress.

This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5... and I would recommend following the link to the post about mental approach..........why would you dread it?

Enjoy your journey.

I do week 4 run 1 on Sat. I'm the same, it looks like a big jump to me, from 9 minutes to 16 minutes... We can do it though. Slow and steady. 💪👊

Yeah I'm loving it. This forum is good as well.

I have just done w4r2 and like you I was dreading the jump to week 4 but it hasnt been to bad actually today was definitely better than run 1. And yes I am surprisingly really enjoying it aswell. I always run at half 5 in the morning and I fibd it really sets me on a good attirude for the rest of the day. Good luck and let us know how you do with week 4!

I found week 3 to week 4 was actually one of the gentler step-ups. Don’t worry, just go on taking it slow and steady. You’re ready and you can do this x

You can definitely definitely do it. I have just completed my first 25 minute run from week 7 - have faith in the program, it really does work! I would certainly not have called myself a runner of any sort before I started. Now I am really looking forward to my next run!

You will be fine . And yes you will find yourself enjoying it(unless it’s cold out there 😆)

This is my second time doing the program and this time round I know my body can do it which makes me proud.

Keep going, you are a star!

I start week 4 tomorrow too. Couple of weeks ago, some of those one minute "runs" were a struggle too, for us. I found slowing down really helped. Don't bounce either.

Google Japanese slow running for a youtube on how slow to go. Believe Clubberlang. Slow and steady. We can all do it!!! Concentrate on doing the time. Not the distance.

Yes I’m improving so much it’s unreal I’m running W3R3 today the program works 😉🏃‍♀️

I don't see any reason why you cannot repeat a week if it is proving hard. I found it too fast for me when I did it. I am doing it again but walking this time as hip problems and am going to repeat if necessary.

Purplegnome- trust the programme and try not to overthink it- as a non runner who has graduated and can now call myself a "runner" it really does work- keep positive x

I'm the same as you. Will be doing W3 R3 at the weekend. I'm not looking forward to W4 as it seems so much longer. We have to trust the program though as it's got us this far. Good luck

Week 4 is just another week of runs, exactly the same as the ones you’ve already done. Nothing to dread!

Week4run1. Just finished. Wow! Remember how we struggled with the last bits of the 90 second runs in week1? Well I did! Now I just ran for 16 minutes. 16. Minutes! Including two lots of five minutes! Without stopping! That feels really good.

So Purplegnome, Clubberlang, NewbieJay , Gooner4ever and all the others who are sharing this experience with me. Thanks for your help. Please keep on running with me. Hey isn’t it good to say that? Running with me?

Do you realise that one more RUN!, and we are half way through the course. WooHoo! Never thought I would say I was ENJOYING this.

I find it easier to breathe if my arms go back and forwards, rather than side to side across my front. Is it just me?
