Have you had your gait analysed at a proper running shop?
It really is likely down to shoe choice or foot shape.
First thing I would try if I was happy with my shoes would be different lacing patterns. If you google "runners lacing patterns" you will find lots of different ways to try.
If it persists I suggest visiting the doctors. It is quite possible that your foot issue could come from an inflamed nerve in your back/pelvis. Numbness should not be ignored.
We all have different-shaped feet and there are loads of different ways to lace your shoes to make them more comfortable when you run. I've added a link to one article showing different lacing styles, but there are tons of others. Having said that, if the numbness persists after exploring different lacing and/or shoes, then it's probably best to get it checked out. Good luck
