CouchTo5K WeekTwo

Oh my goodness... should we even talk about it? Lets.

So, in just over three weeks I have completed week two of couch to 5k. Yes, you did hear me right. Three weeks. I can explain, I swear.

I completed both run 1 & 2 from week two, I was really enjoying myself and I was doing well. In fact, apart from the return of the dreaded virus I was smashing it. Then my mum decided it was time to garden (and no I don't mean replanting) - the full shamozzle. There have been raised beds, porcelain paving slabs, water features and hardcore laid. I decided after a week of heavy lifting, constant walking and 37 active minutes 4 days in a row, that I needed to take a break and stop trying to do everything.

With virus still kicking my arse, I focused on helping with the garden until we reached a metaphorical straight edge with it.

Until today!!

I finally found time (and energy) to complete my run three of week two.

I thought about going back to week one as I thought I'd had two weeks off but because I'd still been moving and essentially exercising, I could pick up where I left off. And I have never felt better!

Gardening in itself is a good past time and exercise in itself, so no need to repeat any runs, well done on completing week 2 of C25K. Hopefully you will be able to continue on to week 3 which involves 2/3 minute runs 🏃.
