CouchTo5K WeekOne

So I'm three runs in, that's a full week of running! In true me fashion it's taken me longer than it should have done due to a mid-week virus but I'm so happy I've done it. I've never been able to stick to a plan so even a week is an achievement.

I've been reading a lot about people who have started CouchTo5K and got the 'running bug' and at first, I have to admit, I thought 'absolutely not, that won't be me, I'll be quitting after two runs' but boy was I was wrong. I'm finding that I need physically restraining on rest days to stop me from going out again.

I didn't think I was one for communities either but here I am and here I shall stay! (fingers crossed)

Congratulations on completing week 1 of C25K and welcome to the community, glad that you seem to be catching the running 🐛 bug but keep to the program ridgidly, you must NOT run on rest days. Onwards and upwards to week 2 after at least one day break. Remember that you can repeat any runs or week's if you wish.

When I have a rest day I remember why I need them and am grateful that they're there, and thank you for the advice :)
