Second run of W7 much harder than I thought it would be. End of W6 & first of W7 really OK. This is probably normal?

What will Friday’s run be like?

I'm at the same stage... Why did you find it harder? A particular part or just the whole thing?

Well, if I pick it apart, I have new running shoes, had a glass of wine last night (one, small), & went to bed late. So ...

The whole program has worked really well for me so far, so I’m just disconcerted if I hit a difficult patch. This is probably wine, shoes & late night rather than difficult! I’ll press on anyway.

Are you drinking enough water? I've found this makes a real difference to how my run goes.. I hope your next run is better :)

Thanks.

I drink (water!) before & after but I don’t carry it with me when running. Maybe I should think about that.

A swig half way really helps me. I have found some days are just much harder physically than others for some reason the stars don’t align sometimes. I had two bad runs in a row about week 6 but then a great one. Good luck.

I found weeks 7 and 8 the hardest. A bit too samey... couple of runs felt like slogs but it's all part of the magic process. Trust the programme! 👍😁

Thanks! I absolutely trust the program, it’s been fab so far, I’ll press on regardless, I struggled with W4, I think, the one where it goes up to 5 mins anyway & that was far, far in the past now!
