Week 4!!!!

Week 4!! I have completed my first run of week 4!! This week my running time has significantly lengthened and I am now running more than I am walking. Running with endometriosis is definitely a challenge but I'm learning more and more about my own strengths, weaknesses and how I can deal with those health challenges that arise. If someone had told me 4 weeks ago that I would enjoy running that running would make me happy; I would have told them they were having a laugh. 4 weeks ago the thought of even getting up off the sofa to run made me laugh because that just was not me. But look at me now, I'm learning to love my own body I'm taking control of my own mind. I'm getting stronger with each and every run and I just want to keep going. I am so proud of how far I have come and how far my fitness has already improved.

Enjoying running , it's strange saying it isn't it . That's what c25k can do for you 😊😊

That’s amazing! I felt the same as you, really didn’t like running then had this weird idea of doing c25k and today I’m doing w4r2. I was dreading run 1 but loved it and felt like I could do more when I’d finished! Good luck with the next 5 weeks! 🏃🏻‍♀️

Excellent. I am no week 3 run 1 and was only thinking today, I wonder when it happens that you just start looking forward to your next run, and do it for enjoyment .... hmmm interesting. I will await with baited breath to see if the running bug hits me.

Yay!! Well done you. Smashed it didn’t you!!

Well done! I did my w4r1today and am so proud and feel positive and happy and energised. I too had never run but having just finished my treatment for breast cancer 9 weeks ago I needed a goal and something to get me back to fitness. I really struggled with week 3 and did a total of 8 runs until I could run 3 minutes but today I found my 3 and 5 min runs quite do-able. So keep going everyone, we can smash this!
