3months break - Where do I start

Haven’t posted here in a while. I completed the C25K back in Nov 18 and continued to run 3-4 times a week till Mid Jan.

After that, I stopped doing any exercise and sadly slipped back to old habits.

I’ve now decided it’s time to get back on track. Where do I start? Do you think I should redo C25K?

hi SS17 welcome back :)

i got to week 7 at the beginning of Nov then didnt run for 5 months. I started back at the beginning of C25K. I was horrified by how i had completely regressed in terms of fitness. However, the progress has been easier this time round, and at least i know i can do it as been there before.

So maybe start with W1R1 and see how that feels. If its easy jump to W2R1 for the next run etc until you find your level, then progress with the program from there? What you don't want to do is set off to quickly and risk injury.

Why not try doing 1 run of each week to see where you are in terms of fitness your body will let you know good luck 😊
