Hi All, I am Jenny 45 from Essex.

Just completed run 2 of week 1. I am hoping that things will get easier, I am so puffed out that I can’t imagine being able to run for 2 minutes let alone 30 minutes. Only time will tell x

Things should get easier Gwennyjenny, well done on getting to run 2 of week 1, the first week for many is the hardest, you are probably going to fast, run a little slower than you did today for run 2 of week 1. 😊 🏃

Thank you for your response. I am determined to carry on. I will try going slower (although I fear I can’t get much slower 😂😂).

Good job, your body needs time to adjust to a new exercise, just make sure you are going slow enough that's what will get you to the end of each run😊😊

Hi Jenny, welcome to the forum, you’ll find loads of help and advice here! Trust me, if you follow the plan you’ll get through - we probably all felt like you when we started! Take it slow slow slow, then slow down a bit you can’t be too slow to start with! Check out the Japanese Slow Running clip on You Tube for some tips. Good luck!
