Bad weather

So yesterday unfortunately because the weather was so bad here I decided not to go out and run, it was icy and tbh quite dangerous I’m not the most steady on my feet anyway and the last thing I wanted to do was injure myself when I have only just started! I have just got back from I’m week1 run2 and I felt ok doing it whereas my first run I found it very difficult to keep going! The weather was terrible again but only with rain this time and tbh it was nice running in the rain 🌧 one boo boo I did make today though was I forgot to take my water bottle, this will definitely never happen again. Anyway enough about my run how is everyone else getting on today?🏃‍♀️

Great job today... and good call yesterday, ice and running rarely go well together.

If your hydration is good, you shouldn’t need to carry water on the run. The only time I’m to be seen without my water bottle is on the run!

Enjoy run 3

Yeah I did think it was better to be safe then sorry, however I did feel guilty yesterday for not going😩

That's good to know as I hate carrying a water bottle with me when running and I didnt really feel like I needed it whilst running. I am very good at staying hydrated throughout the day😊

I will certainly try, I am enjoying this so far!

No need for water on the short runs.. and sensible you to stay away from ice:) Slow and steady as you go... well done!
