Started the C25K back in January. Stop start dealing with injuries and that Blinkin lurgy I can’t shift. Must be 8 weeks of coughing and snivelling!
But, did W5R2 earlier after fasting for 24hrs. I’ve fasted before for health reasons but never run. Having done it today I found it quite easy so if there any out there contemplating it give it a go.

While I prefer healthy eating to fasting... I did try it once and hated it... there was an article I read that eating nothing for 10 hours before a run really activated the body’s fat burning process... as an evening runner it’s not an option for me.
Great job on that run 2... you’re gonna love the next one.
I've fasted to bring pain levels down before. I also like to run before breakfast then go and eat. My tummy is happier like that. Sometimes breakfast ends up being 3pm if I've prevaricated a lot before a run! I think fasting replicates what would have been a natural pattern when food was scarcer and is good for the body. So yes, works for me too😀
