So this has come to my attention again. I heard about it a few years ago when Hugh Jackman (Mmm Hugh Jackman 🤤. Phwoar (oops sorry, was that out loud?!☺️😂) said in an interview that he did this. You eat normal meals, but only in an 8 hour period thereby ‘fasting’ for 16 hours. Apparently, and please don’t quote me on this, the body can take up to 12 hours to digest food, after which time, if you haven’t eaten in that 12 hours, it will then start to burn fat. So a full 4 hours of fat burning before your next meal.
For me, because I have never been able to eat or face breakfast, this is totally do-able, and I’m pretty sure I’ve done it many times without realising I was ‘intermittent fasting’.
So has anyone tried this? Has it worked? I would be very interested to hear details
😊

TBH, and this is just my opinion, i dont think it matters one jot when you eat. If you are in a caloric deficit, you will lose weight. 3500 calories = 1lb of body fat. So if you eat 500 calories less than you burn every day, you will lose weight. What you eat and when you eat it has 0 bearing on the outcome.
Thank you! I’ve just read your link and it gives some interesting views. I may give this a go simply because I practically do that anyway. Also I’m nowhere near 5k yet so don’t need to worry about fueling up beforehand haha
