I know, I know, it's April Fool's Day, but this is no joke.
Last October I started CÈ5K and completed it at the end of November, I then ran a 5k ParkRun and another 5K run, but then over Christmas and New Year I got a bad cough and cold and my running went by the wayside. A few weeks ago I went for a run and managed 15minutes, but struggled to get my brain in gear.
I decided; because of feeling the weight, I needed to get back into that motivated running mentality again and so have started the C25K from the beginning again.
Glad to say, today's workout went really well.

Well done! I finished the programme too but because I haven’t been able to run three times a week, I soon lost the ability to run for 30 minutes. I managed 20 on Sunday and will gradually increase again. Good luck to you
Another april fool here although i row or cycle two to three times a week running has always been out of bounds i am a big lad (19 st ) so the inpact can be a bit damaging anyway just done run one week 2 and found it easier than last week but lets see where i am with it friday!!
I did c25k a couple of years ago then stopped due to family issues, then got knocked over by a car and had to wait for operations to fix things so basically about 2.5 years off. I have bursitis in both hips so have started c25k but walking fast and slow. Repeating week one as it made me very sore. However, whenever and however we start it is a start so well done you! If you are worried about weight and running try power walking perhaps - less stress on your joints? Good luck.
