Happy Mother’s day people. Hope you all got treated like queens!

I’ve just treated myself to my 2nd run of week 3. Yep I actually said treated and run in the same sentence!! It feels so good -now I’ve got over my initial worries about what I look like and what people think - to just totally emerse myself in my music and run. Think this was my best run yet. Feels like I’ve got my pace and breathing just about right. It doesn’t feel like something I need to do but more something I want to do. Love that I can loose myself for half an hour and I don’t need to think about anyone but myself.

1 thing I’ve noticed tho is my Fitbit is recording my heart rate as been in cardio and not peak. Is this something I should be concentrating on now or would you suggest getting through the programme before worrying about pushing myself into peak zone? I feel like if I push myself harder now I won’t be able to complete all the mini runs in each session. Advice please.

I hope you had a happy Mothers Day Rainbow 2019. Don't push yourself while running, the slogan mantra of C25K is slow and steady, otherwise you could injure yourself. Take your time with all of your runs.

Onwards and upwards to run 3 of week 3. 😊

To push yourself would mean going faster and you don't want to so that at the moment as speed isn't important getting to the end of each run is, so just go with what you're doing that's working for you good luck😊
