Well that was simply Brutal!

Hated every minute of it after about 10 mins or running.

I think it’s safe to say that I have learned a valuable lesson today.

On run 2 I had an amazing run where I was really able to push myself, and today it was totally the opposite.

Keen eyed followers will notice that this has happened before - a few weeks ago I had another amazing run, and the very next run was horrendous.

I think my lesson from this is that if I have an ‘amazing’ run where I push hard, I need to give myself extra time off to recover.

Oh well! Hopefully just 9 days to go now - I’m getting excited.

Happy trails everyone.

Make your rest days 2, not 1, that way all your runs will be brilliant, you can repeat any runs or week's if you wish and have two or three days between runs, not long now until you graduate.

Good lesson to learn. I think a key thing to remember is that when we complete c25k we’ve run for a bit over 8 hours (yay! 8 hours of running), but it’s not that much in the grand scheme of things. We can be so thrilled with our progress it’s natural to want to do more, but we need to remember that we’re still novices!
