I have completed Wk3 run 3 and progressing nicely but before I started on W4 I have pulled a muscle in my back which has put paid to any running this week, not sure when I will be able to run again but where in the program should I go back too any advice appreciated?

Congratulations on completing week 3, sorry about your back pulled muscle, you will have to rest it and not proceed further with running, hopefully after a short break you will be able to run week 4.
Great job on the first three weeks. Hopefully you’ll be fine in a few days... if not it takes two weeks of no running to start losing fitness, so you’re probably going to be just fine to resume.

This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5... and includes the advice that if you have a break of less than two weeks, you can pick up where you left off. If longer, you may have to drop back, but only you can tell that when you start back.

Just a little update, my back issue became worse and even put me off work for 2 weeks, been told it could take up to 6 weeks to be right. Have been given some core strengthening excersises by the physio which seem to help the pain. A bit like snakes an ladders it will be back to the start for me once back issue resolved. Very frustrating but just one of those things I suppose.
