I’ve just stared with a group doing the c25k but I’m 65 and have never been very sporty. When I did my homework at the weekend on my own I felt a bit dizzy in the jogging bits. Someone said I may be dehydrated but I wonder if I’ve started this too late and I’m really past it!

Age
No way are you past it! There’s plenty of people on here starting in their 70s! A family friend (he is a life long runner) but he’s still running 3 times a week at 88! Hydration is really important - on rest days and run days. Not really about drinking while running, but keeping up a water (and tea!) intake through the day.
Another thing you could try is this - m.youtube.com/watch?v=9L2b2... - it’s a low impact style of running I swear by. I can now run for 45 mins because of this - and I thought I’d die during run one! Also worth noting that your brisk walk can be faster than your run! Learning that helped me a lot too. Good luck this is an amazing journey, you’ll be staggered by what you can achieve and how great you’ll feel. Keep posting - will be great to follow your progress!
No you are certainly not passed it there are people on here of all age groups. Make sure you are going slow and get yourself hydrated 7 days a week not just on run days good luck 😊😊

Age is a number......... don't write yourself off at a mere 65!
Enjoy your journey.
