Oh dear, I’m a very poor correspondent here, but I do check in often, and enjoy hearing about everyone’s experiences. I graduated last August, consolidated for a good while (never reached 5K though). Some issues arose over a few months and my running became quite sporadic. I did some of C25K again (up to week 7) then tailed off again. Last year I signed up to run the 5K at the Edinburgh Marathon weekend at the end of May, and I’m now on a bit of a panic... I know I could walk the whole thing in an hour, but I want to do a bit better than that. I am going to start serious training next week, and any suggestions would be welcome!

The advice must be to start running again. If you want this, you can do it. You have done the programme before, so you are capable. Start today with a week you feel comfortable with and take it from there. Running is as much about discipline as anything. So timetable your runs and let nothing get in the way.
Good luck, I am sure you can do this.
Thank you - you are right of course. The Edinburgh Marathon site has an 8 week training plan, but maybe I’d be better doing C25K from about the middle a couple of times. It’s great having prompts and not having to time and count intervals myself! I’m going out today and will mark planned runs on calendar. No more procrastination 🤗
