W6R1 not quite to plan

Firstly my daughter decided to give to me the gift of her sore throat last night. Resulted in a restless night, so I really started to think this run maybe worth a delay. But no - 'get out there ant enjoy the sunshine' I told myself.

I have to admit to struggling. Where did that headwind come from? Two minutes in, I was all set to stop, but I pushed on. First 5 minutes completed. Set off for the next 8. But where was Jo with her encouraging comments? I don't know about you, but I loathe looking at my watch as worry it will say only been running for 2 minutes. On I struggled (and I was struggling), and still no Jo. In fact where the heck was Jo? Had she left me?

I had to relent. I'd been running for 12 minutes, and the app had stopped! Lots of rude words, but I ran to the end of the track, which amounted to 15 minutes. So total run time of 20 mins and 3 mins walking. Did feel tough though, but glad I continued. Total time was 1 minute down on what I should have done, but I think I will move onto r2.

Great improvisation to get out of a tech failure. Looking at the running you did I’d say you’re ready for the next one too. Enjoy.
