So on a very windy Sunday morning I smashed my goal time of 35 mins and completed in 33.30!! My fit bit was started before I got to the start line!

Congratulations to you RunnerLCA on completing your first 5k in under 35 minutes.

When I graduated last summer from C25K like you I wanted to get a sub 35 minute 5K time, the first time was 34.21 and so far my PB of 32.25 was achieved about a month later.

Since then I have run only a few 5Ks averageing around 35 minutes and that was last October.

Thank you! I’d love to get a 32 minute time, well done to you. I’ll keep trying and hopefully next time the wind won’t be against me xx

Indeed, I'm going to restart at week 3, I go a lot of walks during the winter months, sometimes I have the C25K app with me and rerun either week 1 or 2 during it hence me restarting at week 3.

I enjoy following the runs it helps keep up the momentum doesn’t it. I may do it like you have keep doing the odd run with the C25K app. I have done a few of the follow on podcasts, the speed one is pretty good.

Fantastic achievement! I can never get the app that measures distance to work, so I have no idea how far I cover in 30 minutes. I’d love to know I can actually run 5K, but I doubt it’s that far.

The Nike Run app is great but my Fitbit charge 3 is great too. I’d definitely give the Nike Run app a go 👍🏻
