I can’t believe that I managed to run for 20 minutes without stopping. Read lots of great posts on here which really encouraged me to believe I could do it , so a huge thank you. The advice of taking it slowly was great, meant I could keep going and even though the last few minutes were tough I could have run for longer. I’m brand new to running and have loved the programme. Having dreaded being seen by friends and neighbours when I’m out on a run I’m already not bothered. In fact all I’ve been met by are positive smiles and comments which has been great. So glad I’ve tried this rather than driving half an hour to a gym. Back to interval runs in week 6, advice on whether should try and go a bit faster on the shorter runs ? would this help to improve my stamina ?
Thank you

Congratulations on completing run 3 of week 5, that is a milestone run with C25K. Onwards and upwards to week 6 run 1 but be careful about that run as it catches out some people with the interval walks 🚶 and runs 🏃 😊
