I run with my husband, who came down with flu so we haven’t run or done any thing other than the odd walk since Dec 1st. We did wk 8 run 1 and were doing well. We’re back to it today. Should we go back a bit or start where we left off? We are age 52. I’m anxious not to get injured as it is so cold out. Any advice much appreciated.

If you were finding things ok I would just try to pick up where you left off and see how it goes.
Worst case scenario is you fail but look at it as a practice run.
I haven’t been out since early Dec when I attempted w6r3 and had to stop after 20 mins so this morning I went out but just restarted at the beginning of week 6 and managed it easy enough. Have faith in your fitness and if you need a wee practice run so be it. Good luck
Just did it without stopping, I’m amazed as it wasn’t as bad as I was expecting, feeling so chuffed right now! Thanks for the encouragement!
