Pop in to report that I've completed quite long overdue / postponed run. This time it was lonely run, as I needed some 'quiet' alone time to unwind and de-stress. I wanted to think through some things, but I was too concerned on running and my music :P all the rest worked out really good :)

Happy running!

Beautiful. Running can be a form of meditation, I think. Happy for you, Iga! x

Recently it is my 'mental' therapy after work ;) When I don't run for too long, I start to be very stressed, anxious, and generally not very happy.

So suddenly it became crucial for me to keep running :)

Same for me, Iga, same for me. 🙂

What an awesome therapy :) And it's all for free :D if don't count shies, leggings, supportive bra, jumper, buff, base layer, and who knows what else :P for me some fancy running belt, bungee leash for those runs with a furry friend, and wireless headphones :)

Yes, I am :D I am sooo much happier and relaxed now. I feel I can get control over my life again :)

I am this wierdo who hated running and now can't function properly without it :P

I’ve found running makes me feel less stressed and I switch my thoughts off and enjoy the run. I do feel it has helped with my mental wellbeing.

It's kind of meditation :) Brain occupied by raising HR, breathing, not falling down or tripping your own legs :P no place for anything else :)

Thank you :) I will. Hopefully next run this week will close my phase 2 / week 2. Can't wait for little longer runs.

Today was this type of run that wasn't great, but made me want to go run again asap, even now :P

aaah yes the "I'm actually just addicted to running" runs ... :D

icklegui profile image

or actually you possibly meant something slightly different - but you are addicted nevertheless :D

Yeap, I've become addicted o_O

I've no idea why I want to run after such a mediocre run, but hey it doesn't matter. Now, it's rest and regenerate break with possibly some strength exercises and streaching :)

Well done. You feel so good mentally when you’ve stopped prevaricating and got in with it. Xxx

Indeed :)

Fantastic. Really well done. I don't get down, so my post run mood lift sends me into the stratosphere every time, even after bad runs. You will find it gets better and better.
