Heya , is this right ? Seems a bit of a jump from running 5 minutes at a time to 20 mins ?

Yeah it’s right.
There is no jump. Don’t forget that the brisk walk between runs is also cardio... last workout was longer than your next. It’s all in the mind... go slow and steady, relax, amaze yourself... you can do this.

It really works Rachey98. You’ll actually be running for a smaller total of minutes, and it’s surprising but possible. Just go slow and if you’re getting tired go slower. You can do it 👍🐌🏃♀️

You'll be amazed at how you manage it, just take the pace nice and steady and you'll nail it.

It's totally doable. Just about everyone posts a version of "OMG I can't believe I just ran for 20 mins" Your brain may try to trick you by saying it's hard etc but your body is more than capable. Ignore those pesky gremlins in your head 😈🔨
You've got this. Believe in the program and believe in you!

It's right and doable. YOU can do it 😊😊

It's not a big jump from 16 minutes to 20 minutes. You're just missing out the one remaining walking break, which has to happen some time. It is a big mistake to look at the length of individual runs rather than the total running time.
OMG - that does look a bit 'naked'... I've got that one in two runs time.... eeeeekkkkkk

Felt surprisingly easy when I did it. Just keep going, don’t think about the time, just one foot in front of the other.

Just keep slow and steady. You'll be fine! 😁

Trust the plan! You can do it!

Prepare to amaze yourself!

First, well done getting to week 5. I've not checked but recall there are 8 minute runs in that week? Either way, you will succeed. The plan is solid. I'm definitely not running material and I followed the plan religiously but very slow speed. Good luck. You'll be amazed with yourself.

If you look at the total time for the sessions in W5 there isn't that much difference. I had similar doubts and I think it was around W5 where I really managed to get pacing right. I managed W5R3 first time and was quite surprised. I'm about to do my graduation run today and not worried that I can't do it. You will do it. Be positive and keep it slow and steady.l
You have just spent 4 weeks getting ready for this. We all went through it. It is just a barrier in your head. You'll be back to tell us how easy it was....
I’ve repeated run 1 this week as am filled with a bit of trepidation, planning run 3 for Saturday, I need to conquer the mind wobbles! Good luck!

Trust the plan and go slow and steady - we have all been there and ever thought we could do it either (I’m now on W8R3 - woo hoo 😄👟)

As you I was a little bit afraid of W5R3 ... so I stayed some weeks with week 4. But I think it's more a mental thing, because everybody could do it - me either! So you can do it as well!
