Sure this has been asked before but....

I’m after recommendations for a good app to run alongside C25K to track the distance I’ve “run”; in inverted commas as I’m very new to all this and I think the wonderful term “shufflejog” is more appropriate!! Whoever came up with that name was a genius 😂

Thanks in advance xx

Strava, MapMyRun, RunKeeper, EndoMondo, Nike+ run Club, RunTastic... not doubt I've missed a few, but other members will be here in a minute to fill in the gaps.

I use mapmyfitness as it can map walks, runs, cycling, aerobics and many other things. It measures and tells you when you reach each km.

All of the above (and others) there are lots of trackers that pretty much do the same job... all offer different extras so it depends what else you want it to do really.

I use Nike, as I need coaching from time to time... Strava is hugely popular as it brings a social element to that lonely long run... others have different strengths.

Personally, I’d download a few and have a look, then test drive your shortlist.
