Failed but didn’t fail if that makes sense 😂

Well after a 2 week knee injury and a bad bout of bedridden flu I decided to attempt week 8 today.

I managed 21 minutes in the pouring rain but then felt ‘the knee’ start to twinge. Tried to carry on for a short while as was only 7 minutes away from completing the run, but then finally saw the bigger picture!

I’ve now realised that it isn’t really all about graduating and finishing C25K, it’s about starting something that’s going to make me fitter and give me a sense of achieving something for myself!

It doesn’t matter if I can only run shorter distances at the moment due to injury, or how quickly I run.

I achieved something today and that makes me feel great 👍 😁😉

You went out you ran 21 minutes you're right that's no fail. So you wait a few days you get some knee support and you try again good luck 😊

No fail... huge victory! You learned/realised something really important there. Great comeback run... 21 after injury and illness is pretty amazing, and shows just how far you have come so far.

Wonderful post too... I hope it helps many who are putting too much pressure on each run.

I think you did great to say you've had an injury and flu. A lot of us have repeated weeks due to illness or injury but we get there eventually. x
