Wk4 run1✅ - advice pls

Pleased to have completed the runs at a slow and steady pace. However, after my second three minute run I started to get a tightness in my hamstring. Managed the next 5 minute run with a bit of tightness. I did some stretching afterwards and a hot shower but still feels tight. What’s the best thing I can do to ease it?

Right now I'd get some ice on it for about 15/20 mins.❄👌

Thanks guitarpicker

No problem. After the ice treatment put something warm on it for a similar length of time.

A foam roller might help.

When you stretch it should be pulling strongly on each muscle group on the verge of being uncomfortable.

Thanks for that. I’ll give it a go👍
