It’s been a few weeks...but on the plus side I now have a new grand daughter!! It actually started with pain on the inside of my thighs which I researched. I found that I apparently have muscles there...who’d have thought! So rest and some exercises found on YouTube. Then I picked up a stinking cold and I’m noooot good with being ill. So just felt sorry for myself. Oh also picked up a stomach bug. Anyway was ready to get back to week 4 when a phone call from no. 1 son asking me to help out as DiL had to go into hospital unexpectedly to have baby number 3. So off I went. I did pack my running kit...but no chance. I’d forgotten what it was like looking after little ‘uns ( 2 yr old joining me in my bed about 1 a.m. aaaggghhhhh). So no running. Anyway then went on holiday to Northumberland and packed my running kit.( last week). And yessss...picked up at week 4 and completed 3 runs again.But I’m going to repeat week 4 as It has been a bit of a roller coaster. Hope everyone has a good week🌻🌻picture is where I went running while on holiday..

Brilliant for getting going again when you could! That’s all the spirit that’s needed! You could see how you are after 1 day of W4 and if all ok, move on?
For a moment, I thought the arrival of your granddaughter started with a pain in your inner thighs.....I've heard about sympathetic labour pains and I'm not surprised you couldn't run!

So, I'm back from a stunning ten days in Sicily where I didn't run once. Several reasons
