I'm not a natural runner, I like our local running group to chat and also explore the local area. But at the start of the Summer hols last year I stopped - logistics challenges and excuses crept in but I always fancied starting again - no races, no pressure, just fresh air & another exercise option. Today I did run 1 week 1 of Couch to 5k on my lunch break. It was cold but I felt good and know I will sleep well. Lets hope I can keep it up......

Seeking out my mojo
Well done for getting back out there...I didn't think I'd stick it, now starting week 9, definitely bitten by the bug having never had an interest before.
Good to hear from you Monica1974 that you completed run 1 of week 1 on your lunch break, you will be looking forward to run 2 of week 1 on Wednesday. 😊
C25k is an amazing plan ,no pressure, no race do it to suit you good luck 😊
Go you 🤗 well done for getting back out there and double kudos for doing it in your lunch break. I knowI couldn't.
Mojo? What’s that? I’m sitting by a nice warm wood burning stove. It’s freezing and wet outside. Awful weather. But I run every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday. Sometimes I also run as well on a Sunday. I’m training for Parkrun and trying to get faster. Parkrun is my drive.
I’m going to drag myself out now in 30 minutes and run 5K. I’m dreading it. But once I’m back in I’ll be so grateful that I pushed myself out tonight. My Mojo is dead. You just have to drag yourself out there.
