After reaching week 7 last September I’ve decided to start again and hopefully complete starting week3 tomorrow run 1 determined to do it.

What was it that stopped you before? If it was that you were struggling with the longer runs, I highly recommend learning to run slowly! Someone posted a film (you can find on youtube) of the Japanese slow jogging movement. This running technique changed everything for me. A low impact way of running that is designed to help minimise injury and with all the benefits of faster running. I still run this way and can now run for 40 mins - I’m not going do 5k in half an hour so am adding duration to one run a week to do that. As a fast walker I also had to learn the trick of my run could be slower than my brisk walk! Hope this helps. And good luck on this attempt!

Thank you for your reply I will certainly look at the technique. I did struggle with the longer run but was also poorly so couldn’t continue. Hopefully will get through it this time.
