When I first had a go at Week 1, Run 1 almost two months ago I had to walk the third and fourth one minute run. So, I am just writing to share my amazement that yesterday I was able to complete Run 3 of week 6 without having to walk any of it. I totally expected to need to walk part of it as the thought of 25 minutes of running was filling me with horror.
Members here had kindly addressed my issues about how to run more slowly and pointed to various YouTube technique videos. Many thanks, I feel totally enthused and keen to progress toward being able to do my local parkrun.
