We had lots of snow, then I went on holiday, then had to work away. Finally today I put on my running shoes. It’s three weeks since my last proper run. I took inspiration from ktsok and decided to run while my son was at the leisure centre doing TaeKwondo. , instead of just sitting in the car for 45mins. Sadly, there is no fancy track here but I thought I would just do a 30 minute run along the pavements around the town. I have driven around this area many times as my sister used to live here, but never noticed how hilly it is! Strava says 83ft elevation.
It was pretty hard going, but actually not quite as bad as I expected. I did just under 4km in 30 mins so i’m quite pleased with that. So now i’m back I need a goal. I graduated just a few weeks back, and I liked following the C25K plan as I felt I was working towards something. I’m not really interested in doing 10k (yet!). What other targets do people set themselves?
