Thatโs perfectly normal, CrazyDogLady... thereโs a sentence you donโt imagine saying too often!! But yes, this is me: although sometimes some trepidation before my run, depending on how I feel generally
Me too! A lot of the voices of reason on here remind me that not every run will feel great. I have definitely experienced that - a difficult run when tired and sluggish followed by one where I feel great. I suspect that feeling these emotions about a run rather than other bits of life might be one of the great things about running though!
Ha ha ! Thought I had written this...I normally run first thing in the morning. Get excited beforehand, sometimes thinking โwhy am I doing thisโ whilst running then once finished punching the air with pure satisfaction.
We do it and should be proud of ourselves ! ๐
Even though our minds like to play little games with us...
Sometimes I do enjoy the actual running bit but on the days where itโs hard I have to tell myself Iโm enjoying it, though I donโt always believe myself lol. But afterwards I feel amazing n I canโt wait for the next run ๐
In total contrast I usually have 1 x day rest but Iโve not run since Tuesday Iโm now dreading it this afternoon ๐ญ I will try and tell myself Iโm enjoying and see how I go ๐
